La V-STROM 1050DE porta la sua vocazione da "Master of Adventure" ad un nuovo livello, proponendo un pacchetto ancora più ricco ed aggiornato con caratteristiche uniche studiate espressamente per godersi al massimo l'avventura anche su sterrato e strade non asfaltate. Qualunque sia la tua destinazione, la V-STROM 1050DE è l'alleata migliore per raggiungerla.

Il Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) comprende un ricco pacchetto di avanzati sistemi elettronici che assistono il pilota durante i suoi viaggi. Selezionando liberamente le impostazioni più adatte ad ogni condizione di guida, il sistema permette di ottimizzare in ogni momento il comportamento e le prestazioni della moto, rendendo la V-STROM 1050DE più prevedibile nelle reazioni e meno faticosa da guidare a seconda delle varie situazioni.

 

L’ampio ventaglio di avanzati sistemi elettronici comprende, tra il resto, il Suzuki Drive Model Selector (SDMS), il Suzuki Traction Control System (STCS), il cruise control, il quick shift bidirezionale e l’Hill Hold Control System.

Il traction control consente al pilota di avere un maggiore controllo della moto in un'ampia varietà di situazioni, sia in solitaria che con un passeggero, infondendo inoltre una maggior confidenza indipendentemente dal livello di esperienza. Il sistema monitora costantemente la velocità delle ruote, il numero di giri del motore, la posizione della valvola a farfalla e la marcia inserita tramite degli appositi sensori. È progettato per limitare tempestivamente la potenza quando viene rilevata una perdita di aderenza, aiutando a prevenire lo slittamento della ruota posteriore.

 

E' possibile selezionare fra tre modalità di traction control oppure disinserirlo. Maggiore è il numero della modalità, più rapido e proattivo è l’intervento che limita lo slittamento della ruota posteriore.

La V-STROM 1050DE dispone di una modalità aggiuntiva pensata appositamente per l'utilizzo su strade sterrate, denominata Modalità G (Gravel), che permette un certo slittamento quando si guida sulle superfici non asfaltate. Con questa impostazione, il motore continua a trasferire potenza alla ruota posteriore e il sistema interviene solo quanto basta per prevenire uno slittamento eccessivo. Il pilota, pertanto, dispone di un controllo equilibrato della moto e può godersi a pieno l'esperienza in fuoristrada.
