Yamaha created the racing R1M using the most sophisticated technology developed by the M1, queen of MotoGP class racing. State-of-the-art Electronic Racing Suspension (ERS) from Öhlins, with anti-cavitation NPX gas front forks, promotes the best performance on any circuit, while the low-frontal carbon shell helps reduce lap times.

But what makes the R1M so revolutionary are the high-tech aids for the rider, including Brake Control, Engine Brake Management (EBM) Launch Control, as well as the Communication Control Unit for data logging and wireless engine tuning. Available in the new carbon and black Icon Performance color scheme with blue detailing and wheels, the R1M is the ultimate R-Series offering the most complete racing package.
