Find out moreDeveloped from the same parallel twin-cylinder engine that drives the KTM 790 DUKE, the engine in the KTM 890 DUKE R is a fire-breathing mid-size giant that promises high performance. Featuring a larger bore and stroke, as well as higher compression and higher maximum rpm, the KTM 890 DUKE R delivers an impressive 121 hp and 99 Nm of power.
Just as on the KTM 790 DUKE, the handling of the KTM 890 DUKE R is due to the dynamic, load-bearing design of the tubular chassis, which allows it to brush winding trails and mountain passes with outstanding response. As on every other KTM R, the frame is painted orange to enhance the sporty qualities.
The tapered aluminum handlebar is flatter, lowered and placed further forward to increase front wheel feel and give the KTM 890 DUKE R a more racing riding position. Riders can customize the distance as they prefer by rotating the handlebars to 3 positions and selecting 4 other positions to fine-tune on the fork plate.
The KTM 890 DUKE R casts an intimidating shadow with its menacing profile and really sharp lines. With its down-to-earth presence, however, it is obvious that this DUKE means business. Compact proportions, flashy graphics and a vibrant orange frame are all unabashedly KTM R.
The KTM 890 DUKE R's LED headlights combine optimum illumination in close proximity with maximum light output. Daytime running lights ensure that other road users will see you coming, which you're sure to do at high speed.
