The KTM 350 EXC-F FACTORY EDITION features a high-tech lightweight frame made of chrome-molybdenum steel, which includes hydroformed elements produced using a state-of-the-art robot welding process. With its race-proven geometries and optimal stiffness, the frame offers excellent feedback to the rider, easy handling and remarkable stability. The side engine mounts (the connection between cylinder, head and frame) are made of aluminum to reduce vibration and make an additional contribution to cornering precision. The bikes also feature side frame guards with a textured surface, which improve grip and also serve as thermal protection for the silencer on the right side. The rear frame is composed of stable, ultralight aluminum sections, weighing less than 900 g, to ensure excellent rear-end stability.
The KTM 350 EXC-F FACTORY EDITION mounts the same high-strength aluminum tapered handlebar made by NEKEN, which can be adjusted to four different positions. The handlebar comes standard with a vulcanized ODI knob on the right side and a convenient lock-on type ODI knob on the left side, the mounting of which requires no cables or glue. An optional switch for selecting alternative engine mappings can be mounted on the handlebar on all models. From this optional switch, the rider can also activate TRACTION CONTROL; this is a unique feature that provides more efficient traction, especially on slippery terrain, and can be engaged at the push of a button while riding.
