DESIGN AND CYCLING

The RM-Z250 focuses on major advances in rideability and cornering speed. Credit goes to the strong aluminum frame and variable-section swingarm designed from scratch; the set-up, too, is the result of careful tuning with a fork that adopts new springs. Superstructures are derived directly from the 2018 RM-Z450. The rigidity of the entire chassis is optimized for unparalleled riding precision on any terrain, also adopting new tires.

All the various new elements make the RM-Z250 more streamlined and streamlined, ensuring a perfect riding position for riders of all builds. With its conformation, the Renthal Fatbar aluminum handlebar provides total control and also gives a special touch to the design. The front end features the beak fender, which is the trademark of Suzuki's glorious off-road lineage.

RESPONSIVE ENGINE FOR GRITTY SHOTS

The RM-Z250 mounts a single-cylinder engine with major upgrades to the intake and exhaust system, revised especially on the inside of the silencer. These improvements allow for greater throttle response, higher torque and increased maximum power. Beyond absolute values, this Suzuki engine has an incredibly progressive and linear delivery, ideal for putting any rider at ease and allowing racers to express themselves at the highest level.

To make the most of all this potential at the start, the rider has the advanced Suzuki Holeshot Assist Control (S-HAC) system. For all other riding situations, Suzuki has then developed an ingenious traction management device that adjusts the power delivered by the engine according to parameters such as rpm, throttle position and gear engaged.
