The KTM SX-E 5 is a unique all-electric mini-cross intended for both beginners and young competitive riders. With zero emissions and virtually zero noise pollution, it takes its place as the leader of competitive minicross, and offers a concrete READY TO RACE alternative to the 50 cm³ fuel-powered engine. Equipped with high-quality components that clearly differentiate it from the many mini-electric motorcycles on the market, the KTM SX-E 5 is in its own right a competition bike, including one that can be used by the very young in areas where noise emission restrictions apply.

Motor

This battery-powered, permanent-magnet, air-cooled, all-electric motor features an extremely compact and streamlined design that fits perfectly with the KTM SX-E 5's small frame size. In addition, thanks to its dust- and water-proofing, it is wear-free and maintenance-free, while the integrated electronic control unit (ECU) ensures a direct but highly controllable power delivery.

Frame

The KTM SX-E 5 has a modern frame design, made of lightweight, high-strength chrome-molybdenum steel tubing, and combines maximum longitudinal rigidity with optimum torsional stiffness. The rear frame is made of lightweight extruded, fiberglass-reinforced plastic elements that can be mounted in two different positions to vary seat height. This means that the KTM SX-E 5 can "grow" with your little rider.

Handlebars

The KTM SX-E 5 mounts a high-quality NEKEN tapered handlebar made of aluminum alloy, which ensures maximum stability and safety. Its diameter is reduced from 28 mm in the middle part to 22 mm in the folds and 18 mm in the grip area. This allows a thinner ODI self-locking knob to be mounted on the left side, while the right side features a newly designed throttle assembly with a vulcanized ODI knob developed specifically for the electronic transmission. An additional protective pad on the handlebar crossbar protects the rider from sharp impacts.
